## **Uninstalling Corona for C4D for Mac Users**

To uninstall on a Mac, use the following steps:

1. Navigate to the folder where the uninstaller is located:
2. Launch the **Uninstall Chaos Corona for Cinema 4D** executable.
3. Click the Uninstall button and wait for the process to complete.

> This process uninstalls Corona version 12 Update 1 and later.

To uninstall on a Mac, use the following steps:

1. Download the remove script from [here](https://corona-renderer.com/stuff/helpdesk/c4d/macos/remove_corona.command).
2. Save the script file on your local drive (It could be in the Desktop or any other folder).
3. Run the script using the **Terminal **app on your Mac.
4. The **Terminal **will ask for your Mac user password; type it and hit the **Enter **key.
5. Wait for the process to finish, and then close it.

> This process removes Corona installations previous to Corona 12 Update 1.

### Troubleshooting

If, for any reason, you're not able to run the script due to OS permission restrictions, please follow these steps:

1. Open the Terminal app from the Mac Utilities folder and use the Terminal commands to navigate to the folder path where the script file is located.
2. Once you're in the same folder where the script is located, type the following commands (one by one) and hit the **Enter** key to set the correct permissions for the script:
3. Close the Terminal, double-click the remove_corona.command file and follow the instructions in the Terminal app.
4. If the OS does not allow running script files using double click, then right-click on the script file and choose "Open With" > "Other" > "Terminal" from the Utilities folder.
