It is vitally important that all information in our documentation be clear and unambiguous.

Rule #1: If you don't understand the sentence, the user won't either.

Rule #2: When mentioning a parameter that must be changed, increased, considered, etc. you must state the parameter name exactly, and where to find it (if not on the current page).

### Example 1

Here is a excerpt from the [MODO V-Ray Camera page](https://docs-chaos.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=VRAYMODO4EDIT&title=V-Ray%20Camera):

**Fish eye** – A camera that captures the scene as if it is normal pinhole camera pointed at an absolutely reflective sphere which reflects the scene into the camera's shutter. The FoV and curve settings control what part of the sphere will be captured by the camera.

**FOV** – Specifies the FOV angle (only when **Override FOV** is turned on and the current camera type supports FOV angle).

**Curve** – Applies only to the Fish-eye camera. This setting contorts the way the rendered image is warped. A value of 1.0 corresponds to a real world Fish-eye camera. As the value approaches 0.0 the warping is increased. As the value approaches 2.0 the warping is reduced. Note: Controls the angle as which rays are reflected by the virtual sphere of the camera.

Now take a look at the same text, with some references colored to match them up. Note that the spelling and/or formatting are not correct in these instances.

Here is the section corrected:

### Example 2

Here is an excerpt from the [MODO V-Ray Denoiser page](https://docs-chaos.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=VRAYMODO4EDIT&title=V-Ray%20Denoiser):

"The Denoiser can only work with the new variance-based adaptive sampling method introduced in V-Ray 3.30."

Unless the user is really up to date on image sampling technology and V-Ray enhancements, this sentence is meaningless. What parameter(s) does this refer to? After some research, it was found that this was what was really meant:

<span style="color: #343a41">"The Denoiser can only work with the new variance-based adaptive sampling method introduced in V-Ray 3.30. Specifically, the Denoiser will not work with scenes where the </span><span style="color: #343a41">**Sampler Type**</span><span style="color: #343a41"> for the </span><span style="color: #343a41">[Image Sampler](https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/VRAYMODO4EDIT/Image+Sampler)</span><span style="color: #343a41"> is set to </span><span style="color: #343a41">**Adaptive Subdivision**</span><span style="color: #343a41">; only the</span><span style="color: #343a41">** Adaptive**</span><span style="color: #343a41">,</span><span style="color: #343a41">** Progressive**</span><span style="color: #343a41">, and</span><span style="color: #343a41">** Fixed rate **</span><span style="color: #343a41">methods will work with Denoiser. Additionally, when</span><span style="color: #343a41">** Sampler Type**</span><span style="color: #343a41"> is set to</span><span style="color: #343a41">** Adaptive**</span><span style="color: #343a41">, the </span><span style="color: #343a41">**Adaptive method**</span><span style="color: #343a41"> must be set to </span><span style="color: #343a41">**Default**</span><span style="color: #343a41">."</span>

<span style="color: #343a41">This tells the user exactly which parameters to check before using the feature.</span>
