This page explains how to edit the Confluence footer.

> ⚠️ Please, do not meddle with the Footer's code and stylesheet unless you have no other option.

## **Overview**

---

The footer consists of two components: an HTML part and a CSS part. The HTML part is responsible for the text and images that appear in the footer, i.e. the content, while the CSS styles this content.

To add more icons and links to the footer or to change the credits, you need to update the HTML code only. The CSS is final and should not require any additional changes in the future.

> ℹ️ If you make any changes to the HTML or CSS code, always copy the old code to a .html or .css Notepad file and upload it to [Google Drive](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1btMBle94gVSEYc_89oC-aLUTTy5RJFfI). Never make changes without first copying the old code.

## **Update Credits**

> ⚠️ Be careful not to delete any element, such as span, div, etc., because this will break the footer.
