**String** environment variables should not have quotation marks around them! It is incorrect. E.g.

```
set VRAY_MTLIB_DOWNLOAD_DIR="C:\path\	o\mtllib" 
```

<span style="color: #202124"> the path should not be in quotations. Users who copy-paste this will get an error. </span>


<span style="color: #202124">The exception to this are arguments to executable commands such as </span>

```
mtllib.exe -targetDir="C:\path\	o\mtllib"
```


> ⚠️ If you encounter incorrectly written environment variables, please correct them.
