Please always follow the steps below when updating the HTML code.


## **Update HTML Codes**

- Go to the **Site administration** from the Gear  icon > Settings.
- Then, navigate to the **Configuration **tab.
- Scroll down to the **Custom Code** section. The Custom HTML and JavaScript option must be enabled.
- Make sure the current code is present in the <u>[Version Control](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1de74dHHXjWnU-frFVLFBFy7adFRBlLkK)</u>.
- Make your changes to the HTML codes.
- Copy the entire new code and save it on a Notepad file.
- Go to <u>[GDrive version control folders](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1de74dHHXjWnU-frFVLFBFy7adFRBlLkK)</u> and create a new folder. Name it after the current date you make your changes. For example, if you make changes on 1 January 2024, name the folder *2024 January 01*.

> ✅ It is a good practice to add a README file with explanations about the changes you made. Put the README file in the same folder as the new HTML code.

- Click **Save** and test your changes on several browsers: Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Brave, Opera, and Microsoft Edge, to be sure that everything runs smoothly.
