This page outlines the process for creating, reviewing, and finalizing tooltip texts in Figma.

## **Process Steps**

---

**1. Requesting Support**

A UX Designer or Product Manager (PM) tags the IE (Information Experience) Specialist in Figma on all elements that require tooltip text support.

**2. Writing Proposals**

The IE Specialist provides tooltip text proposals directly in Figma comments. Use the following method for commenting:

**3. Review and Feedback**

The PM reviews the proposals and:

- Approves them, or

- Leaves comments with suggested edits or requests for changes.

**4. Iteration**

If revisions are needed:

- The IE Specialist updates the tooltip text and posts new proposals in the same comment thread.

- This process continues until agreement is reached.

**5. Final Approval**

Once agreement is reached, the final, approved version of the tooltip text is clearly posted in the comment thread. Use the following method for commenting:

**6. Implementation**

After approval:

- The final text is added to the Figma prototype.

- The corresponding comment thread is resolved (closed).

> ⚠️ - Do not close any comments before the final version is approved.
> ⚠️ - Do not add any tooltip text to the Figma prototype before final approval.
