Once the viewport is suspended, this option changes to Resume Viewport . Shortcut: \ Preferences – Opens the Preferences window where you can manage global Envision settings such as zoom and move speed, display resolution, pop-ups behavior, etc. Preferences Theme – Specifies the color theme of the Envision interface. You can choose between a Dark theme and a Light theme. Navigation Preset – Specifies the navigation controls used in Envision. You can choose either Envision control combinations or set the navigation to work as in Chaos Enscape. Refer to the Control and Input page for more information on Enscape controls. Local Library – Specifies the path where the files which can be re-used in other projects are stored, such as Scatter presets. Show Pop-ups – Enables notification pop-ups when actions are taken in Envision. Check for updates – Automatically checks for updates in the background and informs you if an update is available. You can also manually check for updates from Help menu > Check for updates. Show onboarding tips and tutorials – Displays onboarding tips and tutorials upon starting Envision. Reset onboarding – Resets all onboarding progress and restores onboarding tips and tutorials across the application. VSync – Toggles vertical synchronization. When enabled, the viewport refresh rate is synchronized with the display refresh rate. This prevents screen tearing at a minor performance cost. FPS limit – Monitor refresh rate, 15, 24, 30, 60, 90, 120. Enable Hardware Upscaling – Toggles hardware image upscaling. This improves performance at the cost of image quality. When disabled, the image is rendered in full resolution without scaling. Upscale Factor – Specifies the original resolution for the upscaled image. Higher values result in lower image quality. A value of 1.0 means that the image is rendered at 50% of its original width and 50% of its original height and then upscaled. A value of 2 means that the image is rendered at 25% of its width and height. Pause Rendering when in Background – When enabled, the rendering is paused if another window is in focus. Keep rendering active during Live-link – When enabled, Envision continues to render while the Live Link is active. Note that the Pause Rendering when in Background option must also be activated for this option to work. Keep Desktop Responsive – When enabled, reduces the performance impact on other applications while Envision is rendering. Display Resolutions – Specifies whether to display the current rendering resolution in the viewport. Scene selection highlighting – Toggles the visibility of selection outline around selected objects. Shortcut: H Transparency selection threshold – Objects with a transparency amount higher than this value are considered invisible for selections and will not be selected even when clicked on. This takes into consideration all kinds of transparency, glass and cutouts. Zoom Speed – Specifies the speed at which zooming is performed in the viewport. Movement Speed – Specifies the movement speed when manipulating the viewport.  Box Selection Mode – Specifies the object selection method.
