This page provides information about the AI Upscaler tool in Envision.


## **Overview**

The AI Upscaler is a tool designed to increase the resolution of rendered images in Chaos Cloud Collaboration while preserving visual fidelity. It saves rendering time and produces a higher-quality final image without repeating the rendering and post-processing steps in Envision.

The AI Upscaler supports the following image formats as input: PNG, TIFF, JPEG, and EXR. The output is always in PNG format. For detailed information about the AI Upscaler, see the [Chaos Cloud documentation](https://docs-chaos.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/VCLOUD/pages/196640806).

> ℹ️ AI upscaling happens in Chaos Cloud Collaboration after an image is rendered (exported).

> ⚠️ Once upscaled, EXR images cannot be processed further using the [AI Enhancer tool](https://docs-chaos.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ENVISION/pages/124290277).

> ⚠️ The AI Upscaler support images with a minimum resolution of 512 x 512 pixels.


## **How to Use the AI Upscaler Tool**

To upload an image for upscaling with the AI Upscaler tool, you need to be signed into Chaos Cloud Collaboration.
