The basic procedure to create a view is: Choose the camera view position in the Enscape Viewport Position the sun (optional) Click the Create View button You will find the Create View button located in the View Management area of the Enscape Viewport toolbar. This means that you must have Enscape running and the Enscape Viewport in focus. If you want to Delete a view, that has to be done from within Revit. The View Management button in the Enscape Viewport UI The View Management Panel Once you have clicked the View Management button, the associated panel will open where you will see a Search field, 2 View categories; Favorites and Untitled (the second being a dynamic category that is replaced with the open CAD project name), and the Create View button. The View Management panel open in the Enscape viewport Create View in Enscape You can create a View directly in Enscape or via Revit. What follows is the method for achieving this directly in Enscape, and the methods for achieving this inside Revit. You have decided on a position in your project you would like to create a View from.  Once you have also set any camera specific settings or Visual Settings , including applying styles to the projects geometry in the Revit, click the Create button. This will open the Create View panel where you will be prompted to provide the CAD View Name , as well as optionally Mark the View as a Favorite , and use the Linked Visual Preset option, which is discussed here . You can also save the Sun Position , as well as Update the View The later options can also be edited and applied at a later date. Giving the View a CAD Name If you haven’t named the View, the Create button will not be available. So, name the View first which will allow you to click the Create button to save your first View in Enscape. Giving the View a CAD Name Click the left pointing arrow / chevron located to the left of Edit View to go back to View Management panel.  Or, click the X to the right of Edit View to close down the View Management panel altogether. Favorite View and Linked Visual Preset options Create View in Revit In addition to being able to create a view directly in Enscape , you can also create the View in Revit itself via the View -> Create -> 3D View -> Camera function. Using Revit's Live Camera You can also use Revit’s Live Camera function to help you navigate and set up a View in a complex project.  To enable the camera, click the arrow associated with the Synchronize Views button in the Enscape ribbon in the Revit User Interface which will reveal the option Revit Live Camera button. The following demonstration shows Enscape’s Revit Live Camera being activated and the movement being controlled in both Revit and in Enscape. Once you have created your ‘View’ and you want to deactivate the Revit Live Camera, either click the Revit Live Camera button again to pause it or click the arrow on that button and select Synchronize Views button instead. Revit Live Camera Select and Update a View in Revit To display a view in the Enscape window, simply click on it’s associated name in the list of Views found in either the View Management panel in Enscape or the Active Document drop-down menu in Revit. The Active Document drop-down selection menu in Revit By using the Active Documents dropdown, you can select the View you want Enscape to display without having to jump out of the Revit UI. You can then use Revit’s Project Browser to continue working in another view entirely. Update a View in Revit by opening the View from Revit’s Project Browser, then select Unlock View from the viewport menu within Revit, make the changes (including to the Sun Position as described here ) and once finished, select Save Orientation and Lock View in Revit to update the view in both Revit and Enscape. You may have to restart Enscape to see the changes, but the changes should generally update without having to do this.` Using the Active Document menu in Revit Update a View in Enscape To update a view with a new position, click the Edit Button on the view you would like to update: Edit View Button You should now see a section called Camera.  This is where you will have a section for the X, Y, Z , Orientation , Pitch and Yaw *Pitch = degrees up and down *Yaw is the degree in rotation Update Views Settings Once you start moving around in the Enscape window to the new desired position, you will see all these values updated. *If you want to undo this, simply click the undo button and it will revert back to the original position. Once you are happy with the new position of the view, simply click the Save Button at the bottom of the menu and the new changes will be reflected in the Revit 3D view as well. Camera Values Updated
