## **Improvements**

---

- **New Interface Design:** Enscape's interface has been rebuilt on the Chaos design system, giving a cleaner and more modern look while keeping your workflow familiar and consistent with the rest of the Chaos family.
- **Chaos Notification Center:** Stay informed directly within Enscape with in-app notifications for tips, feature updates and important messages, reachable from a dedicated inbox in the renderer toolbar. Notifications can be snoozed for an hour or until the next day, and the old update popup has been retired.
- **Enscape to Envision Live Link:** Continue your work in Envision with a one-click handoff from the CAD toolbar, with no manual export, making it easier to create high-end animations and cinematic visuals.
- **Complex Scene Support:** Removed the 2 GB scene size limitation, so Enscape can handle larger and more complex projects without serialization-related crashes.
- **Revit 2027 Support:** Enscape now supports Revit 2027, including its new texture search paths, so materials resolve correctly and your workflow stays uninterrupted when you upgrade.
- **Improved Asset Brush Placement Speed:** Placing assets with the brush is now significantly faster and more stable.
- **Consistent Light Clustering:** Light Management now uses the same clustering algorithm in all visualization modes, so behaviour no longer changes between viewing all lights and only visible lights.
- **Intuitive Asset Scaling:** The scaling gizmo now behaves more intuitively. Scaling along the X and Z axes follows the direction you move your mouse, whatever the gizmo's orientation.
- **Asset Brush Distribution:** Assets are now distributed more uniformly during brush placement, and density is handled correctly when overlap is allowed at maximum density.
- **Impact:** “Peak Loads” has been renamed to “Peak Energy Demands” to align with IES terminology.
- **Help Panel:** The mode-specific tab is now selected automatically when a GUI mode is activated or changed.
- **Grass:** Smoother transition between detailed grass and LOD grass, reducing visible cut-offs especially in orthographic views.
- **Scene Export:** The enabled and disabled state of lights is now included when exporting .vrscene files, so lights you switched off stay off in the exported scene.
- **Asset Library:** Enscape now finds the correct Cosmos Browser instance on shared machines, so the Asset Library connects reliably when several users are logged in.
- **Chaos Cloud:** Uploads now correctly handle scenes with textures that use Unicode characters.
- **Security Update:** Updated log4net due to a vulnerability issue in 3.2.0.
- **AI Enhancer:** The AI Enhancer feature is no longer in beta.
- **Impact:** Energy and carbon results now switch units dynamically between kWh, MWh and GWh, kgCO₂ and tCO₂, and their imperial equivalents, instead of using rounded “1K” and “1M” shorthand.
- **Envision Live Link:** Archicad and Rhino now have their own Start Envision Live Link button, with Live Updates and Camera Sync, and finalized localized labels.
- **Chaos Notification Center:** Toasts and modals no longer appear while the notification inbox is open, so they cannot interrupt you while you are reading.
- **Chaos License Server:** Updated to 6.3.1, adding PAC-file proxy support for enterprise networks.
- **Chaos Unified Login:** Fixed the “database is locked” error when several Chaos applications register at the same time, and added a Windows system tray icon and a graphical installer.
- **Scene Export:** Improved the speed of the full scene export.
- **Localization:** Refreshed the Enscape and Notification Center translations.

## **Fixed Bugs**

---

- **Light Management:** Fixed lights positioned behind geometry briefly appearing when opening the Light Management window.
- **Asset Library:** Fixed Enscape freezing when the Asset Library hotkey was pressed repeatedly.
- **Asset Brush:** Fixed “Preview Selected Area” and “Confirm Placement” becoming disabled after distribution changes.
- **Material Editor:** Fixed the Material Editor not always updating the Height Map Type when changing materials.
- **Material Editor:** Fixed the Material Editor UI becoming stuck when the current material cannot be saved.
- **Custom Asset Library:** Fixed custom assets becoming corrupted when saving failed due to file access permissions.
- **Ray Tracing:** Fixed ray-traced artificial lighting not working properly with clearcoat materials when using ReSTIR.
- **Ray Tracing:** Fixed a hardware ray tracing issue where block artifacts could occur in low-light reflections.
- **Ray Tracing:** Fixed an occasionally wrong normal direction.
- **Impact:** Rooms with very low heights are no longer included in the Energy Use Intensity calculation.
- **Telemetry:** Fixed the “Learn More” link on the Telemetry page not opening the help page.
- **Veras:** Fixed the Veras file save dialog omitting the file extension in certain conditions.
- **Revit:** Fixed faulty materials causing the entire material feature to stop working.
- **Revit:** Fixed renamed Cosmos assets not being placed in the same family as previous instances.
- **Archicad:** Fixed cases where Enscape would not be registered during installation, including Archicad 29.
- **Envision Live Link:** Fixed the camera sync state not being updated in the Envision Live Link menu.
- **Envision Live Link:** Fixed errors when starting Envision Live Link caused by missing UVs in the CAD geometry.
- **Envision Live Link:** Fixed the Live Camera not being set up in Envision when the initial Revit camera had no field of view.
- **Envision Live Link:** In-CAD view selection in Revit is now disabled while Envision is running, until wider view support arrives.
- **Vectorworks:** Fixed asset creation being affected by the active working plane of the project in Vectorworks 2026.
- **Asset Library:** Fixed Enscape repeatedly showing the same message and never closing if the CAD was closed during multi-asset placement.
- **Selective White Mode:** Fixed Revit RPC objects not respecting the Selective White Mode filter when Invert was enabled.
- **Rhino:** Fixed symbolic links in file paths not being automatically resolved.
- **Revit:** Improved stability in Revit when using Live Camera, preventing a potential crash while moving the Enscape camera.
