This page provides information about the AI Material Generator in Enscape.

## Overview

---

The Cosmos AI Material Generator lets you turn any image (brick, fabric, wood, and more) into a fully functional, tileable Enscape material directly from the Enscape Material Editor. With it, you can generate a new material from an image, automatically create albedo, bump/normal, and roughness maps, import the result into Enscape and edit it like any other material, and even replace an existing material in your project with an AI-generated one.

> ℹ️ The AI material generator is part of **Chaos Cosmos** and requires a working internet connection and a signed-in Chaos account.

## Requirements

---

Before you start, make sure that:

- **Enscape 4.1.4** is installed.
- **Chaos Cosmos is installed and working** in your Enscape setup.
- You are **signed in** with your Chaos account in the Cosmos browser.
- You have a **stable Internet connection** (generation happens in the cloud).
- You have an image file ready that you want to turn into a material. The image should be** up to 2K square resolution**.
