## **Overview**

Chaos AI Assistant is a built-in AI helper that provides step-by-step guidance, suggestions, and workflow advice directly inside Chaos applications. It helps you understand features, speed up and optimize workflows, and improve projects by suggesting assets and materials. 

> ✅ The AI Assistant tool can be disabled with an environment variable: **CHAOS_DISABLE_GEN_AI=1**


## **Features**

- **Matches a mood** by suggesting a LUT and an HDRI. The AI Assistant analyzes a reference image’s lighting and suggests matching HDRIs and LUTs. The best match is applied automatically.
- **Provides asset and material recommendations** based on the project and the given instructions.
- **Scatter recommended assets** onto selected objects across your project to create a Scatter object.
- **Place recommended** assets onto a selected plane.
- **Provides advice and instructions** on tools, settings, and common tasks. Note that the assistant doesn't directly apply new values to settings.
- **Analyzes your render and provides concise, actionable feedback** on its visual and technical quality. The feedback pinpoints specific areas for improvement and provides an overall render score, highlights successful elements, offers actionable recommendations, and delivers detailed scoring across six primary metrics.
