This page provides information about the ColorCorrect texture in Chaos Vantage. Overview The ColorCorrect texture allows the application of various color corrections to a texture, including adjustment of brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, and options for rewiring the RGB channels. Settings Pre-process On  – Enables pre-processing. Pre brightness  –  An amount added to all RGBA channels. Affects alpha. Pre contrast  –  Scales the RGBA channel values around 50% intensity. 0% contrast produces 50% gray regardless the input color. Affects alpha. Pre gamma  – Modifies the RGBA channel values exponentially. Gamma is a non-linear operation which does not change black (0%) and white (100%) while changing the other values. Higher gamma values produce darker mid-tones while lower gamma values produce brighter mid-tones. Affects alpha. HSL On  –  Enables the Hue, Saturation, and Luminance controls. Hsl hue offset  –  Offset value is added to the Hue channel. Hsl hue gain  –  Offset value is added to the Hue channel, not multiplied. Hsl saturation offset  –  Offset value is added to the Saturation channel Hsl saturation gain  – Saturation Channel is multiplied by the Value. Hsl lightness offset  –  Offset value is added to the channel. Hsl lightness gain  – Lightness Channel is multiplied by the Value. HSV On  –  Enables the Hue, Saturation, and Value controls. Hsv hue offset  –  Offset value is added to the Hue channel. Hsv hue gain  –  Offset value is added to the Hue channel, not multiplied. Hsv saturation offset  –  Offset value is added to the Saturation channel. Hsv saturation gain  – Saturation Channel is multiplied by the Gain. Hsv value offset  – Offset value is added to the channel. Hsv value gain  – Value Channel is multiplied by the Gain. RGBA Channel Mapping On  –  Turns on the RGBA channel mapping. Red channel /Green channel / Blue channel   / Alpha channel  –  Replaces the current channel with the chosen one : Red  – Assigns the red channel. Green  – Assigns the green channel. Blue  – Assigns the blue channel. Alpha  – Assigns the alpha channel. Redinv  – Assigns the inverse value of the red channel's value. Greeninv  – Assigns the inverse value of the green channel's value. Blueinv  – Assigns the inverse value of the blue channel's value. Alphainv  – Assigns the inverse value of the alpha channel's value. Monochrome  – Sets the channel to be monochrome (grayscale). One  – Assigns the value 1 (or the highest possible value) to the channel. For example,  Rewire Red  set to  One  gets the red channel a value of 255 (RGB, 0 to 255). Zero  – Assigns the value 0 (or the lowest possible value) to the channel. For example,  Rewire Red  set to  Zero  gets the red channel a value of 0 (RGB, 0 to 255). Red offset / Green offset / Blue offset / Alpha offset  – Adds a uniform offset to the individual R/G/B/A channels. Red gain / Green gain / Blue gain / Alpha gain  –  Post-process On  –  Turns on/off post-processing. Post mono  – R, G and B channels are set to average of those 3 channels, gives a gray-scale output. Post invert  – RGB channels are inverted around 50% resulting negative of the input image. Post clamp  – RGBA channels are clamped by the specified min and max values below. The normal range of the parameters is [0..1] values out of this range  can be used to clamp HDRI images. Affects alpha. Post clamp min/max  – Controls Post clamp. Post clamp normalize  – Available only when the  Post clamp  is enabled. Clamps colors are scaled so that they map to [0..1] range again after the clamp operation. Affects alpha.
