This article explains how to view your organisation's credit balance, allocate Named credits to users, and read the credits dashboard in My Chaos.

## **Opening the credits dashboard**

---

1. Sign in to [my.chaos.com](https://my.chaos.com/)
2. Open the **Organisation** tab

The Organisation tab has two sub-pages:

- **Users & Product assignments** - the existing seat management view
- **Chaos Credits** - the new credit dashboard. This article covers the **Chaos Credits** sub-tab.

## **Reading the dashboard**

---

> ℹ️ **Default behaviour:** All users start with **Unlimited** Floating pool access. Until you set a specific limit, every user can draw freely from the pool. *For more information, see the **[Manage Users and Credit Quotas](https://docs-chaos.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/LIC5/pages/860651522)** page.*

## **Assigning Named credits to users**

---

Named credits are tied to specific users. There are two routes to assign them, both opening a 4-step flow with the same fields.

### **Option A — Bulk assignment from the Named credits card**

Use this when you want to assign the same product to multiple users at once.

1. Click **Assign products** on the Named credits score card. A page titled **Product assignment** opens with a 4-step stepper at the top: **Users → Product → Expiration date → Summary**.
2. **Users.** Select one or more users from your organisation. Search by name or email, and use **Select all** if you want everyone.
3. **Product.** Choose which Named license/product to assign.
4. **Expiration date.** If you have multiple subscriptions of the same product with different expiry dates, choose which one to allocate from based on its expiry date. (If there's only one option, this step is automatic.)
5. **Summary.** Review your selections and confirm.

The selected users will receive their Named credit allowance immediately.

### **Option B — Per-user assignment from the three-dot (⋯) menu**

Use this when you're assigning a product to one specific user.

1. Find the user in the table and click the **⋯** menu on their row.
2. Choose **Allocate product to user**. A modal titled **Allocate product to user** opens with four accordion sections: **To → Product → Expiration date → From**.
3. **To** is pre-filled with the user you already selected.
4. **Product.** Choose the Named license to assign. If the user already has all available products allocated, you'll see "**All available products are already assigned to this user**" and you won't be able to continue. In that case, either purchase more Named seats or unassign one from someone else first.
5. **Expiration date.** Pick which subscription to allocate from, based on expiry date (only relevant when multiple are available).
6. **From.** Confirm the allocation details.
7. Click **Allocate** at the bottom.

> ⚠️ **Important: Named credits can't be redistributed**
> ⚠️
> ⚠️ You cannot split a single Named seat's credits between multiple users, and you cannot split the credits from the product licenses. The allowance belongs to the assigned user.

## **The expanded pool view**

---

Click **View details** on the **Shared pool** card to open the **Floating credits details** modal. It lists every credit source feeding your Floating pool, with these columns:

| Column | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| **#** | The credit count from that source |
| **Name** | The subscription or pack |
| **Usage** | Credits used this cycle, with a percentage badge |
| **Credits** | The total credits this source provides |
| **Expire on** | When these credits expire |
| **Receive new on** | The next refresh date |
| **Refresh type** | Monthly, Annual, or none |

Close the modal with the **Close** button or **Got it**.

## **Viewing the usage report**

---

The **View detailed report** button (top right of the Credits management section) opens the organisation-level usage report, showing how credits have been consumed across your whole organisation over a chosen time period.

### **Filters and controls**

Three controls sit at the top of the report:

- **Cloud service filter** — defaults to **All cloud services**. Drop it down to scope the chart to a single service.
- **Date range picker** — click the calendar icon to pick a custom start and end date. Longer ranges let you spot consumption trends over time; shorter ranges zoom in on recent activity.
- **Export** — the icon button to the right of the date range downloads the currently displayed data as a CSV file, useful for finance reporting, internal billing, or further analysis in spreadsheets.

### **Reading the chart**

The chart shows a stacked vertical bar chart with one bar per day in the selected date range. Each colour represents a different cloud service (Veras Image generation, Veras Image to Video, AI Enhancer, AI Upscaler, Rendering). The legend above the chart shows which colour maps to which service.

Some services break down further into sub-operations. Within a single bar, lighter and darker shades of the same colour show this internal breakdown — for example, a Veras Image generation bar can be split by model and resolution. Click a service name in the legend to open a checkbox panel listing its sub-operations, and toggle the checkboxes to include or exclude specific sub-operations from the chart.

Two indicators above the chart give you context:

- **Credits usage** — a badge showing the total credits consumed across the entire selected period and filter combination (e.g., *59 Credits*).
- **Period** — the time window currently shown (e.g., *Last 7 days*).

### **Per-user usage report**

A per-user version of this report is also available from the **⋯** menu on each user row — choose **View detailed report**. It uses the same chart, filters, and export functionality, but is scoped to a single user's consumption.

### **What to use the report for:**

- **Spot heavy users.** Open the per-user report to see which team members consume the most credits.
- **Understand which services drive spend.** Filter to a specific cloud service, or compare the colour breakdown across days, to see whether most consumption comes from Veras, AI features, or Rendering.
- **Trend consumption over time.** Use longer date ranges to spot weeks of unusual activity, anticipate future demand, or make the case for a top-up or subscription upgrade.
- **Report and chargeback.** Export the CSV for internal cost allocation, finance reporting, or further analysis in a spreadsheet.

## **What to do when the pool runs low**

---

If your balance is dropping faster than expected, you have a few options:

1. **Upgrade your subscription tier.** If your team consistently uses more than the included allowance, moving to a higher tier gets you more credits *and* more product features. Subscription upgrades are available from the same Buy credits page.
2. **Buy a top-up.** Click **Buy credits** to open the purchase page. *For more information, see the **[Buy Chaos Credits](https://docs-chaos.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/LIC5/pages/858783754)** page.*
3. **Set per-user limits.** Cap users to avoid unintended spending. *For more information, see the **[Manage Users and Credit Quotas](https://docs-chaos.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/LIC5/pages/860651522)** page.*
