This page provides general information about Chaos Credits.


## **Overview**

Chaos Credits are a unified currency that customers spend to use AI-powered and cloud features across Chaos products. 

Whether by upscaling a render in Enscape, generating an image in Veras, or rendering a scene in Chaos Cloud, the same balance covers it.


## **Use Chaos Credits**

Credits are consumed each time for features such as:

- AI Enhancer
- AI Upscaler
- AI Material Generator
- Veras Image generation
- Veras Image-to-video
- Cloud Rendering


Each feature deducts a number of credits per use.

> ℹ️ **Cloud Rendering** doesn't have a fixed rate per render. The credits charged depend on the scene size, resolution, sampling, and other render settings — just like the legacy Render credits *(formerly called Chaos Cloud Credits)*.


## **Sources of Credits**

Credits come from one or more of the following:

- **Your subscription.** Every Chaos subscription, such as Solo, Premium, or Collection, includes a monthly credit allowance. Higher subscription tiers include more credits.
- **Top-up packs.** If you need more, you can purchase additional credit packs on a monthly or annual basis.
- **Enterprise pools.** Larger organizations can purchase an annual credit pool for company-wide use.

> ⚠️ Credits are always granted and consumed as whole numbers. You'll never see partial credits, and you can't spend a half-credit on a feature.

> ℹ️ If you've used Chaos products before May 27, 2026, a few terms have changed:

> ℹ️ - **Chaos Cloud Credits** → now called **Render credits**,** **can be used *only for Cloud Rendering*.
> ℹ️ - **Veras credits** → now part of the unified **Chaos Credits** balance. Unused Veras credits have been converted automatically.
