This page provides information on Chaos Player's integration with Nuke.

## **Overview**

---

In addition to exporting compositions to Nuke Script, Chaos Player can be further integrated with Nuke with the use of the Nuke integration script that comes with Chaos Player.

The script can be found in *C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\Chaos Player\scripts\extras\
uke* folder.

## **Integration**

---

### Windows

The *C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\Chaos Player\scripts\extras\
uke *directory contains Python scripts that allow Chaos Player to be used as a Nuke flipbook.

To enable this integration, copy the contents of this directory (without the readme.txt file) into your .nuke directory. The *.nuke* directory is a subdirectory of your home directory (C:\Users\<username>\.nuke) and is described in "Loading Gizmos, NDK Plug-ins, and TCL scripts" in the Nuke user guide.

If you already have an **init.py** or **menu.py** file in *.nuke*, you can append the contents of init.py or menu.py in this directory to your existing file instead or overwriting it (Python scripts are ordinary text files and can be edited with any text editor).

If your version of Nuke is 6.2 or later, you will get two additional options in the "Flipbook Selected" dialog in addition to the default "Framecycler" - "Chaos Player 32" and "Chaos Player 64".

### macOS and Linux

Under macOS, these scripts assume that Chaos Player in located in /Applications/ChaosGroup/ChaosPlayer.

Under Linux, they look for Chaos Player in /usr/ChaosGroup/ChaosPlayer/.
