This page provides information about the Shadow Render Channel in V-Ray for Blender. Overview The Shadows Render Channel works as a reverse mask for shadows. It is a color image that can be used to lighten, darken, or tint shadows. Shadows can be lightened in the composite by adding this render channel or darkened by subtracting this render pass from the final composite. The Shadow render channel is the product of multiplying the  Raw Shadow Render Channel  with the  Diffuse Render Channel  in the composite.
