Overview V-Ray includes a set of lights designed specifically for rendering with the V-Ray engine.  UI Paths: ||V-Ray menu|| >  Lights ||Add menu|| >  Lights At the top of the  Data  panel, when viewing lights, you can see the number of linked V-Ray lights. Linked lights share the same properties and changes made to one light affect all of them. One way to create such links is to Duplicate Linked a V-Ray Light. Lights that are not within Local View are excluded from Local View. Lights Rectangle Light Useful for simulating lamps. This light type can have a plane or disc shape. Read more . Sphere Light A V-Ray Light object in the shape of a sphere, casting light outward in all directions. Read more . Dome Light Create a traditional global illumination setup. Can be used to load HDRI environment images. Read more . Mesh Light Create light with the volume and shape of the scene’s geometry without using self-illumination and global illumination. Read more .
