- The **Raw Diffuse Filter** Render Element is not very commonly used in compositing. It may be useful when used in conjunction with the [Diffuse Render Element](https://docs-chaos.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/VMAYA/pages/111739040), when pure black and white values are needed for a specific compositing job.
