## **Installing V-Ray**

---

The V-Ray Standalone installer is pretty straightforward and easy to follow and can be downloaded from the [V-Ray | Standalone Downloads](https://download.chaos.com/?product=47&platform=47) section of the [Chaos](http://www.chaos.com) website (please make sure you use your login credentials to ensure access to the download links). Before installing V-Ray, make sure your computer meets the [System Requirements](https://docs-chaos.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/VNS/pages/115605846) for running V-Ray. If you would like a step-by-step guide, please check out the [Installation of V-Ray Standalone](https://docs-chaos.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/VNS/pages/115605716) page. If you run into any problems, please check out the [Troubleshooting](https://docs-chaos.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/VNS/pages/115605718) page.

> ℹ️ To install **V-Ray Standalone** with all other Chaos products included in your license at once, use [Chaos Installer](https://docs-chaos.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Installation/pages/776011795).

### **Portable Installation**

---

If you need to create a single custom V-Ray installation that can be easily transferred and installed on multiple machines, please see the [Portable Installation](https://docs-chaos.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/VNS/pages/115605780) page.

## **Licensing V-Ray**

---

Once V-Ray is installed you will want to make sure that your V-Ray license is properly configured. The [Chaos License Quick Start Guide](https://docs-chaos.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/VNS/pages/115605902) page includes everything you need to get V-Ray licensed and running properly.
