*Official release*

**Date** - September 24, 2026

## **New Features**

---

### **Agentic modeling**

- New Agent mode on the MODEL tab that builds 3D objects from a rendering, photo, or sketch and a description
- The agent models, reviews the result against your images, and corrects mismatches
- Produces building elements such as walls, floors, roofs, openings, doors, windows, cameras, and furniture
- Supports curved walls, tilted and swept solids, profiles, section roofs, and openings cut through solids
- Walls join cleanly with mitred corners and trimmed T-junctions
- Choose between GPT-6 Astra (default) and Claude Opus 5.5, with an effort setting that trades speed for thoroughness
- Up to 12 source images, which are saved as renderings in your workspace
- Assumed elements are marked with "?" and hovering shows the assumption
- Messages sent during a run are queued for the next step and can be edited; Stop pauses and Continue resumes
- One credit budget per session, with a warning before a session that may exceed it
- Furnish the model with Chaos Cosmos assets and apply Chaos Cosmos materials to modeled surfaces

### **Native bake**

- One BAKE writes the agent's model into the host application as editable native elements
- Revit: walls, floors, and roofs become native elements; doors and windows become families; cameras become perspective 3D views; Cosmos materials become project materials
- SketchUp: each element becomes an editable group with textured materials, and each camera becomes a Scene
- Rhino: the model bakes as NURBS Breps with mitred wall corners, and each camera becomes a Named View
- Progress bar for the whole bake and a STOP button
- SketchUp and Rhino files remember the model, and edits you make to baked objects are preserved
- BAKE works from any rendering in the scene

### **Scenes**

- The agent's model is saved as a Scene, a new Gallery item type that saves automatically
- Chat sessions are saved with the scene and can be restored with full history
- Load scenes with LOAD SCENE in the Gallery or FROM GALLERY in the pane
- Rename scenes, star thumbnails, and reorder, add, or remove renderings
- VIEWS, ELEMENTS, and SESSION tabs to browse cameras, elements, and agent activity

### **Material Gen**

- The Materials tool on the MODEL tab is now available to all users
- Pick surfaces on a rendering and find matching materials in Chaos Cosmos or create them with Chaos Cloud Mat-gen
- Bake materials to Revit, Rhino, and SketchUp as named host materials in a single undo step
- Generate multiple surfaces at once

### **Walk-through navigation**

- First-person navigation in the 3D viewers with W/A/S/D to move, Q/E to descend and ascend, and left-drag to look around
- Movement speed scales to the scene size
- Keys use physical positions, so AZERTY and QWERTZ layouts work

## **Modified Features**

---

- Improved the Move tool speed; press Esc to return the asset to its original position
- Added the ability to place, move, and auto-place assets on agent-modeled floors and roofs
- Added selection of imported GLBs in Agent mode
- Added local caching for Cosmos assets, with the cache size and a clear button in Settings
- Changed Revit proxy bakes to display a clean outline without triangle mesh lines
- Changed the IMAGE tab to open at 16:9 instead of 1:1
- Changed deleting a rendering to select its neighbor
- Added a close button and a lock to reference image tiles
- Added compression for long preset share links
- Added the ability to install the web app from the browser address bar
- Updated the credit cost shown for segmentation with Nano Banana 2 Flash
- Improved Cosmos search matches on masked areas

## **Fixes**

---

- Ctrl+click doesn't toggle the Gallery selection
- Presets with a % character in the prompt don't import correctly
- Selections drawn on the 2D canvas aren't always applied before rendering
- Material labels clutter images in Cosmos search

## **Known Limitations**

---

- Agentic modeling is in beta and is free during the launch promotion up to a per-user credit allowance. Each session is charged 1 credit so it appears in My Chaos.
- Native baking requires the Veras 5.2 host plug-in.
- Native baking isn't available yet for Vectorworks and Archicad.
